該機能耗低，維修費用低；在端部進料時，能適應(yīng)不均勻進料要求，可同時完成輸送攪拌混合等各種工藝要求，物料進入過多時也不會產(chǎn)生卡阻現(xiàn)象；便于多點裝料與卸料，可輸送溫度較高的物料。適宜于水平輸送高溫物料；對高溫、供料不均勻、有防破碎要求、防污染要求的物料和需多點加卸料的工藝有較好的適應(yīng)性。實踐證明，在輸送水泥熟料、干燥的石灰石、磷礦石、鈦鐵礦粉、煤和礦渣等物料時效果良好。
由端部進料口加入的物料，其粒度不能大于1/4的螺旋直徑；自中間進料口加料的物料，其粒度均不得大于30毫米。為保證筒體不產(chǎn)生變形，加料溫度必須控制在300℃以下。該機在輸送磨琢性大的物料時對葉片和料槽的磨損極為嚴重。本次所設(shè)計的螺旋輸送機主要用與輸送硅微粉其磨琢性很大所以不適宜采用螺旋管輸送機。
（4）可彎曲螺旋輸送機
該機螺旋體心軸為可撓曲的，因此輸送線路可根據(jù)需要按空間曲線布置。根據(jù)布置線路中水平及垂直（大傾角）段的長度比例不同，其工作原理按普通螺旋輸送機或垂直螺旋輸送機設(shè)計。

螺旋輸送機的日常維護與管理
